What is the length of the finished film?
This all depends on the number of your guests, readings during the service, etc. However, with the basic package the average final edited film is around 30 minutes to one hour.
Are your prices so low because of the standard of filming you provide?
Absolutely not! All our videographers are personally trained and are chosen due to their artistic eye and ability to create a rapport with people. Have a look at our Showreel page to see an example of our work. That way you know the quality of their work before you confirm your booking.
Will your standard package really capture our wedding fully?
The most important part of any wedding day is the service, and that is what we capture, using a tripod and an excellent low-light camera for a rock-steady professionally shot film.
Equally important are your guests, and we aim to film them all as unobtrusively as possible, to capture the true atmosphere of the day and the true 'character' of everyone involved in your special day.
And then there is you.. the tension before the ceremony... getting ready (if you are getting ready at the venue)... the joy and elation after the ceremony.. meeting and sharing happy times with your guests... it all gets recorded in a relaxed and unobtrusive way by our professionals. Because we are not friend or family, we will make sure that all your guests are equally filmed (unless you specifically ask for extra filming of certain guests, perhaps relations / friends that have come from abroad, etc).
Adding to the overall film are 'Soundyte' interviews with the key people on the day, recorded in a relaxed and friendly way, mixed in to the overall edit, and if time permits we will endevour to get every guest on camera in our unique '2 WORDS' section, to really get a thorough snapshot of the most important day of your life! Do we meet our Videographer before our Wedding day?
No. You will be given their name and contact details and they will telephone you to introduce themselves and discuss any specific requirements you may have.
Can we tell our videographer what shots we want filmed?
Although we work to a set format that has been tried and tested to provide you with a quality final film to give a complete picture of the day while we are there, every wedding is unique, so if there is anyone you would like more filming of (or even less filming of!) just let us know. Contact us with your email address and we will send you a pdf copy of our standard filming layout.
Can you provide our film in Hi-Definition?
Sadly no. We edit our films onto Widescreen DVD, the most popular format throughout the world at the moment. If you are looking for your film to be shot in Hi-Definition and masterered to Blu-Ray disc, we recommend that you contact ESSEX FILMS (see our links page) who have the facilities and expertise to capture your entire day in stunning Hi-Definition.
Can you stay and film the Speeches or Evening?
Yes (possibly), at our additional hourly rate (from the time the standard package ends). However, we are not equipped to really successfully capture low light party conditions or clearly record sound for multiple speakers for speeches.
If you are looking to have the whole day recorded expertly, we recommend that you contact ESSEX FILMS (see our links page), who have the facilities and expertise to capture your entire day, any day of the week and at any venue, church or civil, including superb clarity speeches with separate radio and wireless microphones, and excellent low light cameras that can record your party beautifully without ruining the atmosphere of the evening.
Do you film on the Weekends or at Churches?
Unfortunately no. We have tailored our service to specialize in getting you a great product at a fantastic price, and the additional crew / set-ups involved in weekend & church filming makes it uneconomical for us.

How do we confirm a booking?
That's easy! Call us on 01277 633908 and we will take care of the rest. You pay £100 (non-refundable) to confirm your booking which you can send by cheque. We will send you 2 copies of your booking form by post. Check all the details are correct, sign both copies and return one of them to us in the envelope provided.
What happens once we have confirmed our booking?
Anytime leading up to your wedding day, you can call us, to discuss any concerns or questions you may have. We will contact you approximately one month before your wedding day to discuss and confirm your shot list. At that time, we will then ask you to settle your remaining balance.
